Dr. Christopher Walsh has
brought his personally designed facility to the Northern Neck of
Virginia. "I have always wanted to build my own center, where I could
implement all of the safety methods I have developed. Locating it here, in
the Northern Neck, provides much needed accessibility to all."
In addition to being a
leader in treatment safety, Dr. Walsh has been an innovator in implementing
Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) at the community level. His
process for managing solid brass compensator filtration of radiation beams is
noted for much higher resolution and more accurate beam delivery, while reducing
"hot spots" and non-essential radiation exposure to patients thereby
reducing, and in some cases eliminating, therapeutic side-effects.

palliative care radiation therapy through photon beam, 3D, intensity-modulated
radiation therapy and external beam therapy in a state-of-the-art facility
designed to optimize patient comfort and safety.
